It was Friday morning and I was debating whether to drop Biology since it was the last day to drop classes. I talked to my cousin, roommate, and aunt about it and decided that I was going to drop it. Biology had been irritating me because I kept doing badly and I actually studied a lot for it. I felt so relieved when I hit the drop button. It only left me with twelve credits, but I wasn’t really worried about it because I came in with a bunch of credits anyways. Since I dropped it that meant I only had one class on Friday and I was so happy for that.
After English class I went back to my dorm and hung out with my roommate, Kelli, until a friend of mine, Liz, came to visit. I was so excited for Liz to get here because I hadn’t seen her in awhile. Friday night Kelli, Liz, and I decided to eat at Olive Garden and it was so delicious. Then we did some major shopping at Wal-Mart. I think I probably have enough food to last me the whole month now. While we were at Wal-Mart we got a bunch of Halloween decorations so we could decorate our room. When we got back to our room, we decorated for about an hour. We made our recycling bin into a table and we put a bowl of candy on it. This was so people could come trick or treating to our room. I’ve always been really into decorating for holidays. Liz was staying at a hotel so when she left Kelli and I went to sleep. At this point, it was around 3:30 in the morning so we were exhausted.
Saturday morning we woke up at 10:00 and we already knew it was going to be a busy day. We had a lot of plans and I wasn’t sure if we’d be able to get around to everything. When Liz came to campus we first went to the farmers market and I wasn’t too thrilled with that. We found a flyer about an apple festival at the Smithfield Plantation so we went over to that. It didn’t seem like much of a festival, but we made it fun. Kelli and I churned apple butter and got to take a picture with a militia man. When we left the apple festival it was about 12:45, so that’s when we went over to Ancient Art Tattoo.
I had been planning on getting another tattoo; I just wasn’t sure when I was going to get it. Liz and Kelli wanted to watch me get it done so I thought it was a good time to do it. My first tattoo hadn’t hurt too badly, except for the color because that was right on my spine. It was a cross with a heart in the middle and it had my father’s initials above it. I was standing the tattoo shop and I gave the artist the design that I found. He redrew it because he said he doesn’t like to copy what someone else did. I loved his new design. He was telling me all the colors he thought would look good and I agreed so then I went and laid down on the chair while he got his equipment ready. I was getting it on the front of my hip and I knew it was going to hurt because people had told me it did. He started drilling on me and it hurt pretty badly at first, but once I relaxed it didn’t hurt as much. Originally he told me it was going to take about an hour, but I laid there for over two hours. I liked my artist because he made sure I was alright and he was really funny. He kept telling me I was taking it like a champ and then he was joking with one of the other guys and said, “I’m just going to keep drilling on her until she tells me to F off.” Since I had been there well over an hour, I was actually starting to think I might tell him that. The tattoo was almost finished and then all of a sudden I had to use the bathroom very badly. He kept leaning right on my bladder and I couldn’t hold it anymore so I had to get up and go. When he finally finished I got to stand up and look at it. I absolutely loved it. It is a bird and the tail of it is heart shaped. It also has a peace sign above it. I thought it was great and it really made my day.
Since we had been in the tattoo place for about three hours, we then went and ate lunch at Moe’s. It was the first time I had been there and I didn’t like it that much. After lunch we went back to our dorm and hung out for awhile. Then we showed Liz around campus because she had never been here before. When it was dinner time we went to Macado’s and it was really good. Liz dropped us off and went to her hotel after dinner and then I went out with my friend, Brittany. I got back at around 1:30 and went to sleep.
We all decided to sleep in this morning since we had been out and about since Friday afternoon. It was a lazy day for us because we couldn’t get ourselves motivated to do anything. We did finally go out to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings. My meal wasn’t too great, but that’s partly because I’m sick and don’t have much of an appetite for anything. Liz wanted to go buy some gifts for people so we went to the book store to do so. She had a four hour drive back home so she left after that. I was glad she came down because I had a lot of fun with her and Kelli. The best part for me was getting my tattoo, but I was really glad I got to see Liz too.

Yeah I am in the same situation you are in but i didn't drop my class. I felt like i should just work my way out of my situation by spending more time on that subject. I also only have one class on Friday so that makes we excited to get it over with and have an awesome weekend.
